Virtually every auto today has names like Toyota, Nissan , rogue, highlander SL, etc. in raised "chrome like" letters on the body. With a white car especially I find that dirt seems to get in between the letters and in the loops and swirls. The same hold true for clearers and wax. How do others clean efficiently in these places? The standby in a bathroom is a toothbrush for tight spots but I hesitate to use same on a car.

A quality QD or NR wash, and a q-tip, or cut one end of the q-tip off, and use the barrel with a quality MF towel around it and gingerly poke it into those areas.

The key is to make sure your NR can remove wax residue. Meg's D114 is very good at this application (among millions of other applications).

For wax, it's best/easiest to remove it while it's still fresh (not dried).

I use my Tornador and APC. Works like a charm. Then spray with clear water and blow dry with my compressor.

Famous Detailing Brush (http://www.autogeek.net/boars-hair-detailing-brush.html)

I love this brush, nice and dense, yet still soft. My favorite brush for small, intricate areas.
