View Full Version : Which one first: Collinite #476 or #845

For my winter prep, I'm going to use both Collinite 476 and 845.

Which one do you suppose I should use first, or as the base wax and then top it with the other.

I'm leaning towards 845 as the base and then 476 as a top coat since it is a paste wax.

845 and then 476 ... for the same reasoning as you ... Or maybe get a little experimental and do, 845, 476, 845? Or 845, 476, 845, 476 ...

When I talked to Mike Taylor from Collinite he said to do the paste first and then the 845 for a deep wet look.

For maximum durability just do 2 coats of 476S about 1 hour apart.

I have them both and would have to agree.

476S is more durable then 845, but you can still use 845 on top of 476S or underneath...
