I cleaned up my dd over the weekend after a rather mild winter here in the upper Midwest. Despite warmer than normal temps and little-to-no snowfall, months of road salt and sand caused the usual minor swirls/scratches. I put some recently ordered products to use for the first time - Iron X, Cobra Clay Mitt, and HD Speed.

I couldn't be more pleased with all three products...

I'm done claying forever, thanks to the Cobra Mitt.
Cobra Clay Mitt (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-clay-mitt.html)
Iron X just plain works(not sure where to store the container however - strong smelling stuff).
Iron X Iron Remover, CQuartz IronX, Paint Cleaner, paint decontamination (http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-iron-x-cleaner.html)
And what's not to love about HD Speed.
3D HD Speed (http://www.autogeek.net/3d-hd-speed.html)

Sorry, no pics - the "upload photos" deal still isn't working for me.

HD speed is crazy good even if it was 3x the price.

Totally agree on HDSpeed. Niether of my current vehicles need it right now but when the time comes if they need a quick polish to bring back perfection, it will be done with HDSpeed.

Looking to do a full correction on my friends Dark Metallic Blue Honda, which REALLY is a nice color to see cleaned up and will be using HDSpeed. His paint isn't destroyed but pretty bad.

Plan is:

Megs 101 Foam Compound with Orange Pads
Cold Beer Im the MAN
HDSpeed with white pads
Water :xyxthumbs:
Chem Guys Blacklight x 2 coats
Cold Beer
Menzerma Powerlock
Water
Great food and more beer :hungry:

Careful on the Blacklight. It has micro abrasives in it. I'd do it by hand or else you'll wipe out the Poxy protection in the Speed.

Don't use blacklight. Top speed with proxy.

If you plan on using HD Speed as a polishing step why not use HD Polish.
