FLEX in the house! FLEX Free Spinning 15mm XFE 7-15 150 (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/new-car-care-products/99582-flex-house-flex-free-spinning-15mm-xfe-7-15-150-a.html)

I was told the FIRST 150 free spinning FLEX XFE 7-15 150 orbital polishers coming to the United States were reserved for Detail Fest at Autogeek.

So I"m walking through the warehouse as we set-up for Detail Fest this weekend and what do I see?

The free spinning FLEX XFE 7-15

Awesome! Does the 15mm Gorilla in the room have a name?

Is that the official name? Were there no winners from the Flex competition?

Have not heard if a name has been chosen yet.

Be here at Detail Fest and tell Bob Eichelberg your idea in person!

One would think with hundreds of them awaiting sale at AG, that the name is XFE 7-15 150 no? Said another way, if this isn't the final name and another is going to be selected (e.g. Flex Apex) would the next product run have a new name on the same product? I don't know but that sounds odd to me. Whatever the name is or will be, great to see it is ready for sale!

I wonder oif the current Flex 3401 will go on sale now ar AGO to make room for these?

It would be very un-German to give it a proper name, IMO. I like the random letters and numbers better. Can't wait to see a review on this thing. Why buy anything else when you can own a Flex!

Nick any-ideas or time-frames ????

April, possibly May.

The guys over in Germany worked their butts off in order to get us the XFE in time for Detail Fest. From what Flex has told me, the XCE is next. :)

Hey guy's, first post! Been reading here and learning for some time and really like the forum. Lot's of good information and a good crowd too.

Can we find out about the vibration of this new Flex? Any idea's at all about how it compares to the other guys? And what size backing plate does it have? Can you use Griot's Boss pads with it and if so what size?

Planning on ordering tomorrow....the Boss G15 deluxe kit with a Rupes 15 MK II instead of the G15 or this Flex depending on what I can find out.

Thanks for any and all replies....:dblthumb2:

My boss g21 seemed smoother then the new flex when I Demo'd it at Autoality
Wish I would of brought it to do a side by side.
The new forced rotation was a new experience for me, not sure I digged it..would of loved to do a whole car to get a real feel for it..
But Bob said the ones that go on sale will be smoother, then the ones I've played with.
And I heard 2 to 3weeks when I was there

Got to play with this bad boy at SEMA. It was noticeable smoother than its competitors. I mean super buttery smooth and just oozing with that typical Flex quality, even in its preproduction state. The XCE felt pretty much the same as the 3401 to me, but that XFE was really something. Absolutely can not wait to see the reviews and comparisons on this one.
