Just got my G10 and it looks like the backing plate that shipped with it doesn't fit, it's the one made for the BOSS G15. Dang, hate when this happens just before the weekend, gotta wait until Monday to call AG.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160312/19f6cf0ee97a3065d2c0f3ce9cca0142.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160312/cd3064f6de0a51471441e92e9598e60c.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160312/0e977c2394f07baf34ceb676870d80bb.jpg

Wow! Definitely the wrong BP. If you have a PC style threaded BP, it could work. So long as it clears and spins freely.

Stuck a PC style backing plate on and looks like it'll work, can't wait to put this thing to use next week. Runs sooooo smooth and quiet!!!

OOPS! Looks like we did accidentally send you a G15 backing plate by mistake. :nomore:

I can either:

A: Send out the correct backing plate.
B: Issue a merchandise credit in the amount of $27.00 which can be used on a future order, assuming you're happy with the performance of the backing plate you found that works with the machine.

Either way, I'm not going to inconvenience you to send the incorrect backing plate back to us. After all, it could be a sign that you should also add a BOSS G21 to your arsenal!

I'll send you a pm later, I'd like to get the correct BP, I'm a typical Detailer (OCD haha)

I already have 2 Rupes 21 mark1 and a Rupes mini
On the list is a Rupes mark2 15 and a Rupes nano when it comes out :)

I got this, too, but found the center feature is just lightly press fit into place. Use pliers and give firm tug. Comes right out. Makes it totally compatible with most DA polishers or, with the insert, with the BOSS G15 & G21.

A very nice BP, I might add.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread but Nick - you rock! I got a similar great response from customer service when my foam cannon showed up with the wrong fitting.

The other alternative is to use a 5/16-24 1" bolt and split washer. I did that first. Actually makes it easier to get the wrench in there.

Thought a pic would help.

I think they should just send you a G15 instead and let you keep it all :)
