Liked the old days better. The teaching classes. Watching guys chit chat or a stationary camera showing people walking by is really lowering the bar. Outa here.

They have the classes going on, they're just not showing them on the feed.

I was really hoping for the classes as well. If I want to see people walking around I can just go to the park

I understand that's expensive to do the live feed thing and there's a lot going on, but I too miss the classes. Earlier today I was watching people go in and out of the bathroom- fortunately there were no wardrobe malfunctions. I checked out.
Would there be a way to charge watchers for the live feed? Like $25 a day or $40 for the weekend? Most of my job has continuing education through webinars, maybe next year? Just a thought.

Thanks for the effort Yancy! But it's killing me to watch people walk around in shorts while I'm watching it snow here!

No difference in cost or set up, putting the tripod in the classroom vs. watching strangers walk around. Maybe we're going to be surprised with the vids of the classes later??

Do you remember the thread about how we were going to upgrade the forum software?

New forum upgrade! (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/company-forum-news-headlines/100027-new-forum-upgrade.html)

With the good comes some bad and one of the bad things is ALL coding that tells your browser to display a video is now broken.

What I do - when I have the time - and when I come across broken video codes is I take the time to track down the video and then fix the coding.

Here's an example of a thread I fixed.

Video: Mark your backing plate to make it easy to see pad rotation (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-car-garage-how-videos/49489-video-mark-your-backing-plate-make-easy-see-pad-rotation.html)

I'll try to get the code on this page fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience that's the price of technology I guess.

:dunno:

I fixed and added the code I could find for Detail Fest videos for 2016 to the first page.

I'm not sure why the Sunday video isn't working, I'll ask Yancy to take a look.

:)
