It seems like most brands have a spray wax and/or instant detailer that works great in between full details, except Collinite. Are you listening, Collinite? :)

If they did, you'd probably get 3 months of beading from the spray wax and insane shine.

I've dispensed Collinite #845 Insulator Wax from
a Spray bottle so many times that I've lost count.

:)

Interesting.

How many ozs of wax to how much water ?

Do you add anything else or just mix those 2?

What is the application like ?

Thanks for sharing

He just said he's dispensed it out of spray bottle. Not he dilutes it and uses it as a spray wax.

Its not that thick, I imagine it would be easy to spray it.

If you warm up the 845, it's easily sprayable! There ya go! :)

I know Collinite is shooting for a little more forum visibility with their visit to AG and the accompanying giveaway thread, but when was the last time they introduced a new product? I don't think they have, in this century.

Although I guess they are under relatively new management, so you never know.

I just think there waxes are far apart from a durability aspect, and they have been around for ever so they just might be contempt on what they sell just great waxes. If they formulated a spray wax with the same kind of formulation it might hurt them on the back end of selling there can waxes.who knows, but if they did make a spray wax I will be the first to buy it.The closest would be reload.I don't like the brown formulation I prefer the old white product.

I may trying that spray bottle thing. I have some samples of Pinnacle spray wax I may mix with the 845 to thin it a little more.

Ha, I was going to look up the MSDS to perhaps suggest a solvent for thinning, but Collinite has taken the MSDS's off their website :dunno:

That might work, but then how will you know which wax is actually "doing the work"?
Collinite doesn't need a spray wax, there are enough of those already.

More info on your process, please :)spray waxes are defined for quick simplicity.putting 845 or 476 in a spray bottle is a easy application, but in theory the same as waxing your car the traditional way.a clear transparent collinite easy to use spraywax would be awesome.wipe on wipe real quick with no streaking or hazing, that would be a product of the century.
