I would be using it primarily for exterior plastic. Will also use on tires. Which one would you choose. Both have good reviews, but Ultima is almost twice the price.

UTTG. I've used both, but UTTG lasted much longer for me on exteriors. I use PERL exclusively on interiors.

But Check out Adams VRT for exterior trim.. i like it better than UTTG

For exterior plastics I use BLACKFIRE Total Trim & Tire Sealant, plastic trim restorer, tire coating, long lasting tire shine (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-trim-sealant-trim-restorer.html)

I like PERL on tires, have not tried BFTTTS on tires yet.

For exterior plastics, it's hard to beat Car Pro's Dlux.

I've stopped using Perl & UTTG on the tires. For tires I only use BF AIO Trim & Tire now.

BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant, tire dressing, tire protectant, whitewall tire cleaner (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-total-eclipse-tire-shine.html)

For hard plastic I use dLux & now WG Uber Ceramic

CQuartz DLux Plastic & Wheel Coating (http://www.autogeek.net/cquartz-dlux.html)

I know this is a late response but check my review out:

I added a 10 month update.

if you put a good coating like tuf shine or others that are similar you won't have to mess with dressings that don't last

and you won't need strong tire cleaner anymore

works for me YMMV
