I recently ordered some Carpro Eraser. Is this a good product to use to remove Menzerna polish residue before sealing with Duragloss 111? Or might the Eraser leave something behind that would compromise the 111 adhesion?

What I have read, but not personally witnessed, is that Eraser has some compatibility problems with certain coatings. I have never heard of Eraser affecting sealants though - at least not yet.

Yes Eraser will remove polishing reside from Menzerna as well as other polishing products. I use Menzerna Top Inspection for cleaning up Menzerna products.

There should not be any compatibility issues.

111 is formulated with a light chemical cleaner. Nothing abrasive, but it will prep the surface for itself. I follow SF4000, and Rupes Keramik with it, no problems.

•My first thought is:
-Does Duragloss recommend that a
"panel-wipe process" be performed
before applying their #111?

Or might the Eraser leave something behind that would compromise the 111 adhesion?
•If I wanted to be sure that a surfactant, such as:
sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES)...is compatible
with Duragloss #111, or not...
-I would contact Duragloss directly

I'm a "family" guy and would most likely opt for DG Squeaky Clean before 111 although good point earlier to maybe check with DG if you're able.

AG's website recommends Wolfgang Prewax Polish Enhancer before 111.

This is what 111 picked up off some cymbals I thought were clean earlier.
