Good friend called recently to restore her 1982 Red Corvette, the paint is all original single stage, all interior, motor, wheels, exterior parts are original. This is V8 5.7L Cross-Fire Injection 200HP classic muscle US sport car. Everything works tip-top & she wants to enjoy it to the maximum, the summer is coming. We have a lot of fun in Tel Aviv.
Hi Sharky, here are you & I am calling you

Let's go to see the car, I want to start restoring it immediately, the day is short...
This is my Red Corvette, what do you think? Brought it 1.5Y ago from Chicago, didn't had time to take appearance care of it till now, in the summer it will be my daily driver...please make it shine like my red lipstick
Don't worry darling, everything will be taken care of, you too

Door locks, all other moving parts needed penetration (I prefer this word rather than rust removal spray, what do you think?), Sandra told me that sometimes door handles work, sometimes she has to open first the right door & then left from the inside.

The 1982 Cross-Fire Injection Red Corvette is all originally restored, all next pictures will be fun & Grand Finale, my strategy here was to keep the paint look completely natural without going deep & hard into it, that's why all the work is a hand job
Paint was very healthy (before they knew to paint the cars in USA) but fine, so carefully but surely I moved forward without risking everything, probably that's why people just leave me their cars & go. Sandra's Corvette got 66778 miles into it & she paid 350% import tax to bring it here so whatever this car worth in USA multiply it by X3.5
We are very happy about the day brought us together, I wish her during the summer to burn the wheels completely (she does it) & make the men crazy :dblthumb2: with her Red Corvette.
If you have boring questions about the step by step I made here, just ask I know the answers, if you want to learn from me how to restore single stage paint by hand I doubt you'll learn anything because this is Sharkpolitur - hardcore, random, chaotic style detailing operations. You better look for answers somewhere else. So into the pics.
Here I just placed camera on the hood & started to shoot

Attention everybody who are stupid, Sandra is a self made businesswoman & celebrity from Savyon (place near TLV where Israel's elite & multi-millionaires reside) that's why I ask to keep your comments appropriate, she poses for me only because we are friends & she wanted to express herself like this, does your sister or mother burns tires like Sandra does on the crossroads, if not then please understand what kind of personality she is. This lady loves all that smoke & music from the 80's
I wish everybody a wonderful day, see you soon Autogeek$
Trully yours, your biggest fan, Shark

Awesome job, dude!
Thank you my friend,
have you ever made something nice together with a sexy looking girlfriend on the hood of a shiny, polished car, if not then I am sorry for you , it is worth it especially when her husband is abroad making tons of money for us to have fun. I made it tens of times in any place you can imagine, anywhere 4 wheels can enter I did it, let me die tomorrow, no - tonight if I am lying.
Regarding all Corvette models from 1st till 4th generation it was a very nice looking & performing sport car there was even some quality, but afterwards greed at Chevrolet made it look silly, unrespectful, too stupid. Today when people see new Vette on the street they like to look after it for few seconds but everybody knows it's a pile of junk, nobody wants to own it, it's reputation is below 0.
On the positive side girls do like it, if this is the reason anybody buys Corvette then - respect. Girls are crazy about Corvette, much more than Porsche, BMW, Mercedes combined, for them it's somewhere between Lamborghini & Ferrari. Go for it if you play hard.
