Friend of mine and I reconnected and I am educating him on car care. I said he can come up and ill help him work on his car.
He has a bmw from 2007 3 series. I will probably be correcting it if we have time and was wondering about a pad and product combo. I have m105/205 and HD adapt. I love my meguiars red microfiber pads and I just need to know if anyone has had a car come in for correction like this one. Ill do a test spot and see but thought I could turn to the forums first.

You will be fine with those, just as you said do a test spot

I think the one I worked on was a 2010. I got the most milage from a green buff and shine, and M100. I finished with M66 on a black b&s.

My daily driver is a 2007 335 coupe, metallic black. I absolutely adore Menzerna products on it but admit to keeping it swirl free. I have cut somewhat aggressively maybe twice in its life and i categorize my paint as medium on the scale of hardness i.e not GM/Ford hard but not Honda soft either. I would want to try the M205 first for a test spot and go from there. Depending on the condition of the paint maybe 205 with a white LC pad first then bump it up to 205 with an orange pad if needed before reaching for the 105. Then maybe 105 with a white pad and progress to an orange if necessary. I would be surprised if 105 and orange doesn't correct it but evaluate the paint in front of you...not me.

I have a 2007 jet black 335i sedan and the wife a 2011 jet black 328i wagon.

Menzerna, Wolfgang, BlackFire to name a few.

I did a BMW once and I thought the paint was very hard. It seemed to be very forgiving with correcting nearly flawlessly.

Going to try hd adapt on a red meguiars microfiber on a g110v2 (meguiars) . What you think about speed and other factors?

First and foremost do a test spot with a less abrasive combination.

My 07 is more on the softer side while my 11 behaves more like normal or average. Mine are jet black so they correct pretty easily. What color are you working on?

Its been AGES since I have used any mf pads combined with a traditional DA. I have not used any HD products. Cant really help other than to follow the directions of the Meguiar's mf system.

My daily driver is a jet black 335I. It was very hard to correct when I bought it, but maintenance has been pretty easy. This particular color is very hard.

This is it hard or soft stuff drives me nuts!,the same color car made just ahead of yours could be completely different if the clear was changed while on the line. Happens everyday. Use the products you are familiar with and go from there.
