I haven't touched the car yet. Supposed to be nice this weekend. I guess my wheels would be considered polished aluminum. How do I polish them without making them look like chrome

From the looks of your wheels, they are a clearcoated. No way you can make them look like chrome. Just a good washing and then put some wax on them, just as you would your paint.
BTW: Nice car.

If they are clear coated just clean normally. Otherwise you can strip the clear coat and polish the aluminum that way

The owners manual should explain wheel finish care for your set of wheels.

As stated above they are clear-coated. Clean them like you would your car with a good soap. then a coat of wax or sealant....

Do not use anything abrasive .............

Here's a tried and true method of determining
if they are ClearCoated or not:

-Put a dab of a polish (I'll often use M205)
on a white cloth;

-Take it and rub it on a low visibility area of the wheel;

-If the cloth doesn't turn black: Stop...immediately!
Your wheel is likely coated.

-If it turns black...your wheel is likely uncoated.

Clean and maintain like you would with any painted / clearcoated wheel.

To protect, nothing easier than Hydro2! Spray on, Spray off! BAM DONE!
