Buying a new enclosed aluminum trailer. Recomendations for products to use would be welcomed

Is the trailer painted or raw aluminum?

By hand, or machine?

If it is thinly painted, I believe a non abrasive metal polish is recommended. The polish acts like a cleaner, and the non abrasive part is to reduce the amount of paint removed.

There is some information on this in this thread.

It is new, actually being built. Color is pewter. I was thinking wash, non abrasive polish and then seal. My question then is what to use?I am thinking Collinite cleaner and insulator wax

the last custom trailer I did in Charcol grey (car hauler) had very soft paint. I don't know what brand of paint or if only certain paint is used on aluminum type trailers but it was super soft. I polished it out with CarPro reflect (finishing pad) and applied WolfGang Deep Gloss Sealant. It held up great and looked awesome.

If it were mine I would consider coating it to get longer protection. Something like CQUK or WG Uber Ceramic

I have the Uber ceramic to use on my truck, possibly get more for trailer.Thinking that the less polishing the better

I think that is a great idea. WG Uber Ceramic is super easy to use.
