Would you know

How many mobile car wash/detailers in USA ?

How many cars may be cleaned by mobile car washers in a year?

Thanks

•It is estimated that there are well over
250 million vehicles in the USA.

•So:
-Even if there were 250,000 mobile detailers...
-that would be 1,000 vehicles per detailer:
More than enough to go around!

•Then again, "The $64,000 Question" is:
-How many of the 250 million vehicle owners will
spend enough of their discretionary income to
ensure mobile detailers will earn a living wage?

•And perhaps this question needs answered as well:
-How many of these vehicle owners will use one of
the many thousands of conveniently located stationary
Car Wash facilities, instead of a Mobile Detail Service?

There are so many apps coming to market related to car wash such as
Washos.com
Getspiffy.com
Envi.com
Washe.com
Smartwashapp.com

Do you see a future in these apps being able to sustain themselves in long run or is it just a fad?

How will they compete with local washers that can do it cheaper?

Can mobile washers/detailers apps like these benefit mobile detailers by adding efficiency to their schedule, ordering, payments, directions?

How much would a detailer be willing to pay for such an app software ?

Zero mobile detailers can't compete with tunnel brick and mortar.scheduling is hard to do period over the phone alone.ordering I buy in person and don't take cc only cash,so I don't think a app will help mobile guys. And I don't want to be flooded with calls from weird people who will more than likely will waste your time just my take on this.

Hi autowash,

Your posts have been reported. It appears that all of your posts are related to doing research, not so much about detailing cars. This is a car detailing forum not a research center.

For example, I quote you below,

How much would a detailer be willing to pay for such an app software ?

That just screams you're doing marketing research for your own purposes.

Now we don't specifically have any rules that I can think of against people joining the AGO forum to do research for their own purposes but at the same time we're not going to allow any precedents to be started and it's really not the purpose of this forum. Sure it can help you for your purposes, which probably have a financial gain associated with them at some point.

So how about putting your cars on the table?

Are you a detailer? Are you here to learn more about detailing or share your knowledge of detailing with the members of our forum?

Or

Are you here on a fishing or researching expedition?

Please be honest. Like the time-proven saying goes,

Honesty is the best policy.

Since your posts have been reported, all the Moderators are now looking at your posts and will be looking, reading and watching for your future posts.

Thanks you for your cooperation.
