Hey all,
I bought my first bottle of HD Speed, and read the directions, but still have. Question, how long do I need to wait from applying it to removing it? It doesn't say,mid it does I just missed it.

Thanks
Brad

Removal/ cure time will largely depend on the ambient air temp at the time of application. Personally I've never had an issue doing an entire panel before removing HD Speed. I've also read about guys going over an entire car before removing HD Speed. It's best to experiment with cure time and see how far you should go before wiping it off.

HD Speed is awesome stuff. You're going love it.

BradI personally wipe off after each panel and keep things neat and simple.

I leave it on until the entire car is complete then wipe off--seems to improve durability.

Since one of its jobs is to leave behind some protection I usually do the whole car then do windows and dress tires. Basically treat like a wax

The guys from 3D said that doing the entire car then wipe off will give you better protection.

It's super easy to work with. I do the entire car then wipe it off.

If you're working outside and dust is accumulating, remove it after each panel. Be sure to remove dust before polishing the next panel. If you're working indoors, you can remove it after your done with the whole car.

Thank you very much all. One more question, how do I know the rotational speed of my machine. I have a GG6, so would 5 be 5,000, 5.5 be 5,500?

Let me check old emails. I got something straight from Griots about this

Thank you for taking the time to email us here at Griot's Garage. The speed settings on the 6 inch Random Orbital are; 1: 2,500 OPM, 2: 3,360 OPM, 3: 4,220 OPM, 4: 5,080 OPM, 5: 5,940 , 6: 6,800. ***NOTE*** These speed settings are approximate and will vary depending on the amount of pressure applied that is applied to the machine.

Wow great info, so I should be at 3.5-4.5 according to the bottle.

I leave it on for the entire car...I just did an 09 Corolla and when I went to wipe it off I couldnt believe how EASY this is to remove. I usually have just pressed like normal but this car for some reason I let the weight of the towel and VERY SLIGHT pressure and it wiped off like magic!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh I love this product
