Looking for ways to cut down the dust that accumulates on the car while working. Its mainly from blowing out my MF pads with compressed air. Do you guys walk away from the car outside to blow out pads? I blow out my mf pad after each section pass then get right back on the panel. I just get a layer of dust after I clean out my pads while working! Any input appreciated, Thanks!

Yes, i always clean my pads outside and away from the vehicle inside. Being a former pilot i also take note of wind direction and make use of that as much as possible. Can't completely eliminate it but it helps to keep it away from the work area.

I also like a bucket of ONR handy with a WW MF towel to keep it in check too.

I don't polish a ton but when I do I use a pad brush about every other panel to keep it from getting filled up too much. FWIW I use Meg's M101 and UC so I don't get too much dusting to begin with either.

New pad after each panel and throw the used one in the soak bucket. I clean them all outside after the jobs done. No issue with dusting.
