I have one on the way.. I did do a search.. And did find some good info..
But any recommendations on how to use it how to learn how to use it.. Thanks..

Always remember that it is a tool that allows you to ESTIMATE how much paint you have to work with

There is one that is made by "all-sun", these are the specs:


This tester is designed to not-destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings (including
paint, enamel, plastic, epoxy, etc) on iron, steel or aluminum.

Research on the net and view videos. There are several that show how to calibrate and use it. Good luck.
