This product is brilliant. The pack contains 2 pre soaked sponges for just $11.99. My trim was extremely dull and grey. I used just one sponge on all of my trim ( bumpers, grill, engine rubber, plastics, tyres and mirrors.) and it blacked them really well. They looked brand new. This product doesn't drip. We just had about 5 days of continues rain and the black is still on there and as good as i first applied. ! sponge can do a whole car. I highly recommend this product.

Why were they $11.99 for you? I see them everywhere for only $2.99
I agree they work well. 1 sponge alone can usually do a whole vehicle.

Yeah that is way too much for those sponges. You could get the entire bottle of ultimate black for that price.

Terranoboy,

No probs man. I know I sure have paid more money for some detailing supplies that I was unaware what the actual price was.

Just wondering, do you live in the States or out of the country. I can see that price difference if you are from out of country.

Take care!

Yeah, I figured that. Seeing that there is quite a few people on this site that are from other countries. I have heard prices over seas were a bit more.

That is really cool that you like this product though. I am a huge fan of Meguiars products, and thought this sponge product was a really good idea.

I hope all is well out in Kiwi-land. By the looks in photos and stuff, you guy's have one gorgeous country out there. I can only dream of visiting there one day!

Have a great one!

Could I use this on the rubber trim for on my windows on new car? If not, what should I use?

I want to avoid greasing up my windows when I operate them.

Ultimate Quik Wax
On the rubbers?

So I would use Ultimate Quick Wax, then clean the windows?

Also, what do I use to clean the rubber.

I use the Mothers Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner to restore them to their original look, then use the quik wax to maintain.
And yea you can do the quik wax on the rubber then clean the windows with glass cleaner, just keep in mind most glass cleaners contain alcohol so try not to go over the rubber too hard with it.
