I was wearing an old leather belt and after a long trip I got up and was practically stuck to the seat. I'm not sure if it was the heat, but my belt felt as if it melted to the seat. After getting up, there were some black marks that transferred to the seat. The seats are cloth. Any recommendations on what to use to remove the marks?

Try a carpet stain remover such as shout or resolve or a aerosol stain remover.

I've had decent luck with leather master products on dye transfer (jeans) situations.

Leather Master Dye Transfer Remover, leather cleaner, dye remover, ink remover (http://www.autogeek.net/leather-master-dye-transfer-remover.html)

Thanks for your suggestions. I finally got around to cleaning the seat. I ended up using some Folex and some scrubbing with my fingernail and it all came off. The seats were previously treated with 303 Fabric Guard (http://www.autogeek.net/303fabricguard.html) so that might have helped.
