A customer asked me to polish the aluminum on his car hauling trailer. I've never done any diamond plate polishing before and would just like some info on good products, pads and buffers. I have a 3401 and a Dewalt 849. I really don't want to tear up my Lake Country CCS pads on Diamond plate. Would a wool pad on the Dewalt be better? it doesn't look like its really oxidized too terribly bad. Thanks.

I've tried mothers mag and aluminum. It's decent. I have a aluminum intake and I'm still trying to find the best thing to polish it

I used mothers mag and aluminum on my toolbox. I did it by hand. It was a PITA but it made 10 years of weathering look a lot better. Once I get a DA I'll get a wool pad and do it again.
