Thanks for the pics power stroke looks like a sweet machine.
My next order is going to be the mark 2 15 and rupes mini.
Wish I had more money Christmas time I would of snatached up those gift certificates.
Hard to dish out more money at that time tho, especially when Christmas cost enough lol

FWIW, the Mark II 15 is much more powerful than the LHR15
Thank you very much for the tip.

I love the flex however I use it as a compliment to the long throw da.
It is so much harder and by that I mean on the body, the flex drives you, as you drive the long throw da.
On a open panel that is no concave or hard for the long throw to spin , the 21 will correct faster the the 3401 while being more comfortable from my own experiences.
As of now there's no other machine out there besides the rotary that can correct paint like the Flex.
There's no other machine that runs as smooth as the Rupes.
If someone ever makes a machine that both corrects paint like a rotary and runs as smooth as the Rupes than I'd say it was the perfect machine.
On thrashed paint I often hit it with some 3k followed by my rotary than a DA.

Question.
Can you put a 6 inch backing plate on the Rupes 15?
If so is it too much for the smaller Rupes?
It would be nice to have when doing large RV'S being they're all flat panels.

Glad to hear you are liking the LHR15ES so far. Great tool... actually spent a little time with one today on a small project. Have fun and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
Why on the 15 it says detailing, and on the 21 it doesn't? Please explain thanks

Give who a call, Rupes? I'm ready to order. Did your 15 Mark 2 come with the washer mod as well?

Why on the 15 it says detailing, and on the 21 it doesn't? Please explain thanks
The 15 was designed with the the detailer in mind , the smaller backing plate is more suitable to the majority of cars out there. Remember rupes never intended nor recommend to use the 15 backing plate on the 21. So the 15 with its smaller back plate has the name detailing on it .

As indicated above, the 15 was always intended as the 'detailing' tool where as the 21 has applications in detailing, but its also being widely adopted in the PBE market for the removal of sanding marks. Bodyshops love it b/c the skill required vs a rotary is lower, so they can deploy it with their techs regardless of skill/training levels, and still get the job done but much safer and in fewer steps.
