I've waited an hour or so as well as let it sit overnight before coating. Haven not seen a difference in application. Durability I can not comment on yet...

Thankyou everyone! My plan is to follow Carpro Essence with Optimum Gloss Coat. It will be when I get a chance my 1st experience with a coating and my biggest project of my young detailing career. Very excited/some nerves.
