I'm confused. Why the need for another website for car care products when PBMG already has Autogeek, and I think Autopia??? Actually what's wrong with JUST having Autogeek?

It just seems like a lot of unnecessary bouncing around from website to website, and forum to forum.

Thankyou, and have a good day.

Superior Car Care is "retiring" hence the 40% off and I don't think it's actually part of PBMG even though the site looks almost the same as AG. Regarding the multiple site thing there have been hints about major changes coming in 2016 so we'll see.

Good question. The had a 40% off sale a week or two ago.

The coupon code was working up until yesterday. Seems expired now.

Does it really matter? PBMG getting bigger is a good thing for them, and mainly you as a customer.

Superiorcarcare.net is part of PBMG. As a company, the more reach it can have, the more sales, the better off.

This has come up before and it was stated that superiorcarcare.net is NOT part of PBMG. See posts 10 and 12 in this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/company-forum-news-headlines/86696-better-understanding-pbmg-its-subsidiaries.html

Autopia.org is an "open" forum where you can discuss all things detailing related regardless of who sells or doesn't sell them.

Ag store's front page says superior is now a part of pbmg, they must have been bought out hence the end of the "retirement" sale.

Yeah, that is exactly where I saw it, listed on the AG front page, like you said.

Dang, I can only imagine. 40%. Won't see that for while. Did they do much advertising of it. Or were only people who belong to their site informed?

This is how a successful company (like AG) acquires other similar companies and grows with diverse websites catering to different 'markets' aka customers and sets its sights on higher goals with such consolidation.
I expect price increases across the board and then "similar sales" to keep current customers happy and involved.
Very smartly planned, nicely done
Congrats, a few more to go and you have almost a national market under your umbrella.
