So Im home from school on break, went to wash my moms car, and saw this stuff.

Anyone have any idea what is is? Megs Apc wasn't touching it even with agitation. There are also spots on the paint and on the lower side trim. Tried scraping it off with my fingernail in the wheel well and some of it came off.. Anyone seen anything like this before/have suggestions for getting it off trim, wheel wells, and paint?

Thanks

Try using a pressure washer first? Almost looks like paint. Might need to try Tarminator or 3M adhesive remover and elbow grease.

Yeah I was thinking paint too. Some kind of sealant at a construction site?

I'd say it's the epoxy road paint

tarminator works well IME and wouldn't you know it's bogo right now...
Stoner Tarminator removes bug residue, tar, tree sap, gum and more from automotive surfaces! (http://www.autogeek.net/tarminator.html)

Just another guess... Sometimes when they're cutting new (or old) concrete on the road with those circular saws using water as an abrasive, that very contaminated water can run across the road and into lanes of flowing traffic. I've driven through some that can be a real bear to remove.

Or or maybe paint, as suggested above. Good luck!
