A good friend of mine brought me an old door and headlights off of his junker. It's was a 2000 something Geo Metro. Exactly what I needed to play around with my new polisher and DP AIO headlight restoring polish & protectant. Been a good Christmas so far!39574

Good stuff Jay. That's the best way to practice.

Which "new polisher"?

I got the PC 7424, gonna play around today if it doesn't rain. Most likely it will since I washed my truck this morning, lol!

That's great!

Although if possible, a dark colored panel will let you see more mistakes/imperfections easier

That way you can truly see what's going on

Maybe I'll have to paint it after I have my way with it

My girl sent me an offer up link to a local source of car parts.

We're going to load up her truck with various parts for me to knaw on.

I had a door last year to pacify me... It's all I want to do for some reason. Scuff up a scrap piece, only to make it shiny again! I burned off all the clear coat on that door... Lol!

Enjoy, friend!
