Anyone do any after hour working where you have to bring out the lights to finish up your work? I'd truly appreciate some suggestions

There's a brand offered by an orange big box retailer that has a nice multidirectional LED for 99.99 that I keep threatening to buy 2 of so I can extend my outside hours during the winter :)

Just curious, is there such thing as too bright? I'm wanting to build my own light stands and use led floodlights but just wondering what watt I should get.

I use the Snap On LED work lights. I bought mine from Costco for around $25 but I can't seem to find them on the site. They are rated at 2000 lumens and work well to illuminate my poorly lit garage in the night.

I am also thinkinga about the DIY posted above but these lights arent bad.

Hope you get something that works for you :)

I use the Snap On one also. I have it mounted on my cart. Works quite well. I doing detail work on some custom show cars and the guy that owners them just bought these two lights for me to use. I think when I'm done I'm going to get the Ace one for myself.

the Ace Hardware lights have less watts and did not see lumens but what I like about them is they have the right color temp of 5000k.

This rule is just getting plain old and tired. I also don't think it applies to something like this as there are ZERO work lights for sale on AG. So tell me FinishingTouchA, are you the kind of person that goes on telling on everyone? Nobody likes a tattletale. Nobody.

You also might want to consider lighting available from Big Ass Fan. Just do a search for it. If I were not just a hobbiest detailer, I would seriously consider these lights. Wall mount kits are available. They are expensive but probably worth it for those of you doing this as a business.

Nevermind, it is only for products that compete with what AG sells. I was just in a bad mood that day :p

Found these while looking for work lights. If what they say is true these are defiantly bright enough and have the correct color temp
