Wow the 3401 VRG is awesome!

The machine due to its direct drive is awesomely powerful, & can be a handful to control, compared to my G110.

I found it difficult to do the on the fly cleaning, and just pressed the rag to the pad.

The machine can get warm & pulling the pad off, was warm also. I did use 8 pads to polish.

Recently the trunk on my Audi was replaced & the body shop left "rotary" swirls or holograms, this machine effortlessly removed. Very Impressed!

Thanks Guys
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

I think you'll get used to controlling the machine, you might want to turn the speed down a little from what you are used to using on your G110. The trigger certainly helps.

I found it easier to have the head at 10 o'clock and the handle at 4 with my hand at the very end of the handle. The trick is to balance the tool and just let it do it's thing.

It's a fantastic machine! Very smooth running. Keep working with it, and you won't have any issues controlling it. The "walking" is usually from being too high, or low in the rear of the machine.

I believe that is how I use it too.

Excellent! Thanks! I'm left handed so next time I'll try 2 o'clock & 7. Makes sense too high or low, & walking, I'll keep it in mind next time.

Yes, i have found flat is the way to go with forced rotation. And i can't hold my pad with a towel if its on while cleaning on the fly. Good to hear you are having success with the 3401!
