I don't drive a very cool car but I like to take care of it. 2011 Camry SE. Classic Silver Metallic.

At work from 8am-5pm I have two parking options: Full sun exposure or under a nice big oak tree.

There are birds and squirrels in this tree and I have to clean the horizontal surfaces daily. No big deal with ONR @ QD strength. The car is protected with Collinite 845. Its garaged at night.

Where would you guys park your ride?

Mine gets parked FAR away from other cars (both of em). I can deal with mother nature.

I would choose the sun.
On top of bird droppings and sap you should also worry about heavier things that may fall on your car. Especially if squirrels are in the tree.

I'd rather deal with the sun than bird bombs. Unfortunately my office isn't in the best part of town, I deal with homeless pissing & pooping on cars.. Last month someone smashed a 40 of Olde English on the back of Touareg.

Consensus seems to be sun less harmful than birds. Huh. Guess I'll just have to get used to buffing out my headlights more often.
