If you use Ultimate Wax, or M21/NXT 2.0, they're actually designed to work synergistically with their paint cleaners, and pure polishes (glazes).

Do any of the Megs paint cleaners have chemical cleaning action or are they all abrasive?

To the best of my knowledge they rely mostly on Meguiar's super-micro abrasive technology. If you're looking for an OTC chemical cleaner, try some Duragloss 501. •Must keep in mind that Meguiar's has their own
way of describing "paint correction" processes...
and the products that go with them.

For example...Meguiar's has stated before that:
•(Besides washing a vehicle)...There are two types
of Paint cleaning processes: the removal of above,
and below, surface defects.

-Use products, like Clay, for above surface defects
(bonded contaminates)
-Use liquid paint cleaners...containing abrasives..
for below surface defects (such as: swirls).
Paint cleaners will deep clean, and level, the paint.

•They classify Polishes as: non-abrasive
(pure) liquid products, like M07.

•So for all intents and purposes:
-The products use list above are examples
of Meguiar's paint cleaners.

Also note that Duragloss 501 also contains a very durable synthetic protection agent.

Duragloss makes a product called "Squeaky Clean", which is the cleaning agent of 501, without the protection.
