Let me start by saying this is a great community. I've enjoyed reading these forums for some time now. And I love autogeek. I buy all my supplies there.:D

Secondly like many here, I live in Florida and run a detailing business.

And finally thanks to autogeek for this forum. :applause:

:D Here's a tip!!

Don't get a merchant account (to accept credit cards) when you start your business. Wait a while. $85.00+ a month for something you never use sucks :(

Thats $85 you could be spending at AG:awesome:

LOL, I don't know if I would ever accept credit cards. I don't think I will need to. Good tip though! Everyone usually pay you cash or check?

lets just say that cash and personal checks dont always equate to earnings and taxes on said return. Statements of credit card transaction and business account is much easier for IRS tracking purposes. Hypothetically speaking ....

This is true killr :D Also technically in Florida as a business you have to charge sales tax with each job. But cash is the best for more than one reason;) but I get paid mainly by check.

Lets just say as a Commercial Banker via day ... my clients expect my knowledge and advice where-ever possible. Just dont come looking to me for a loan with no verifible assets on returns however. (two sided coin)
