I know this is a loaded question, but if you only have 1 choice for each of the following what would you choose?

Tools are Flex 3401 with hybrid pads and PC 7424XP with LC CCS pads

1. Compound
2. Polish
3. AIO
4. Wax

Have used M105, but it dusts. Love M205 and D151 and C845.

1. Compound - Wolfgang Uber Compound, car polish, polishing compound (http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-uber-compound.html) like *Menzerna FG400.
2. Polish - Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0, Wolfgang finishing polish, polising glaze, machine glaze (http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-finishing-glaze.html) like *Menzerna SF4000.
3. AIO - Wolfgang Uber All In One, cleaner wax, all in one polish wax (http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-uber-all-in-one.html)
4. Wax - Pinnacle Souveran Paste Carnauba Wax is Brilliant on Red- Awesome on Black! Souvern is hand poured, one container at a time, and boxed with an (http://www.autogeek.net/pinsouvwax.html) ... but prefer sealant (lasts longer) Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant delivers a deep, wet, liquid shimmer unlike anything you can imagine. (http://www.autogeek.net/wg5500.html) like *Menzerna PowerLock. I always use sealant and sometimes top w/wax (after sealant cures for 24 hrs) for "show-car" look.

Handy comparison chart Autogeek Swirl Removers & Compounds Comparison Chart (http://www.auto-geek.net/charts/wax-cut-chart-master.htm)

I'd use Mike@DedicatedPerfection Smack Method http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/77155-my-technique-concerning-3401-menzerna-products-hybrid-pads.html ... using Wolfgang or *Menzerna products.

*Note, Menzerna makes Wolfgang line.

If I only had one car to detail, I could settle on just one for each category. Maybe. Nah, who am I kidding? I would still have a ton of products... and I could never have just one car.

So...I'll take it as you really only need a suggestion
for category #1---Compound. If that be the case:
I'm going to suggest Meguiar's Ultimate Compound.

Absolutely!

I have the M100/M205 in the quart size, but I still use Ultimate more often.

Agreed, Ultimate compound and polish should be available in Gallon size. I understand it's Meg's retail line but the products are just fantastic and have a place in a Detailer's arsenal. Just not practical purchasing them in 16 ounces bottles for us.

To answer the OP's question:

1. Ultimate compound
2. Ultimate polish
3. D151 or HD Speed... I am not sure which is best. Many people prefer speed even though my own test showed D151 to be superior, will retest this spring.
4. Have not tested but from all I have read: Essence seems to be the new wonder LSP

I'm going to try and source it by the case. I should be able to get a good discount buying in bulk.
