Hello all - just wanted to offer my thoughts on the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless product that I won in a contest here. I approached the review as unbiased as possible.

Appearance is a little like Pepto Bismol. Smells like candy.

Here are the poorly photographed instructions. It's 1oz: 3 gallons for a rinseless wash, which is a great dilution rate. I usually use D114 or Ultima. I really enjoy both of those products, so it would be hard to pull me away from them - the main competitor would be Ultima because D114 is in a class of its own by not leaving behind any kind of protection or anything.

The dilution rate is just as competitive as Ultima, which is a good first sign. You can also:
Add 1/3 of an oz to a 16 oz bottle for a waterless wash
Add 1/2 oz to wash water and soap to act as a water softener
1:128 for clay bar lube or pad conditioner
3:128 for a "gloss intensive detail spray" as per AGO

Anyway, lets go use it for its primary purpose.

Here's the subject. It's my sister's brand new car - has like 350 miles on it. Never been washed.

Very few love marks. The paint is almost in pristine condition because the dealer didn't prep it.

However, it is dirty.

worst part by far

There are marks like this all along the vehicle where someone got too aggressive in removing shipping material. They are actual defects in the paint and will require polishing to remove. For another day.

Here's the car afterwards. I did not wash the wheels or wells at this point.

trunk cleaned up very nicely.

The paint looks great even without a wax or a sealant on it. It's in good condition, but I think this product helped some too, which is not something I normally say.

This product was just stupid easy to use. I used it in direct sunlight and it was about 55 degrees out. Whenever it streaked, which was mainly windows, I just rewiped with the drying towel and it immediately went away. I purposely left the panels in the sun with solution on them for a few minutes and got no water spotting once I wiped dry. I was actually really impressed.

If this product works well for its other purposes I can see myself alternating between this and Ultima, depending on whichever is the better price at the time. It's really nice. Thanks for reading.

Looking good! Question - what kind of wash media did you use? A mitt? Or a bunch of microfiber towels?

A bunch of microfibers. More laundry... but I prefer it.

Thanks! I'm on the fence between using a mitt vs a stack of microfibers. Both have pro's/con's to me. What g/mē of microfiber do you prefer?

Angus I have switched over to MF's from using a Grout Sponge. I just use the Garry Dean Method and never introduce a dirty MF back into my wash solution.

This is how I'll be doing rinseless from now on. Got enough towels to do it now.

Usually 420 or so I think? I like the ones that are fluffy on both sides. I've done it with some of the more "basic" towels but as long as they are high quality I've never had an issue.
