leather to slippery after detailing

A friend just bought a car. The dealer put conditioner or whatever on the leather seats. When he goes to put in the car seats for his kids it slides around way too much.

Is there anyway to get rid of whats on there so that he can put the child seat in

I would clean them with a good leather cleaner, should remove any of the oils that were not absorb by the leather.
