I just found out that Mother's Back to Black Tire Renew is a specifically designed as a rinseless wash for tires. I currently use D114 at 1:128 for my wheels/tires that's coated with DP Tire Coating.

Does anyone know if Mother's Back to Black Tire Renew is safe on tires that are coated? Specifically tires that are coated with DP Tire Coating.

It will degrade it. How fast, well that's hard to answer. DP is pretty darn durable though.

If it was me I would stick with D114 until you are ready for reapplication of DP.

Back-to-Black Tire Renew is not a rinseless wash for tires. It is a waterless tire cleaner.

Since it's strong enough to remove tire browning and tire dressings, I'd say it will remove some/most of a tire coating.

If you don't want the the coating removed, I would not use it.
