Linting MF towels

I bought some 480 gsm Korean towels to use for rinseless washes. I have used them about 4 times and they lint when using them to dry. I did wash them before the first use, and wash them as instructed. None of my other towels lint. Guess I got a bad batch. Anyway, any suggestions on what to do with them? I have replacements on the way, so I really don't need these extra 10 towels. TIA

Before I relegate "linting MF-towels" to
grunge duties...I'll give them a "special
washing"...in hot water using: Micro Restore

Afterwards:
I'll throw them in the dryer on low heat,
along with two of those plastic, and knobby,
Woolite dryer balls. {I usually get them at
the snobbier discount stores like Targét.}

More often than not:
That does the lint removing trick
for a couple few more go 'rounds!

But seriously, all of mine lint if used dry and I have two separate batches of 12. I think it's just the nature of fluffy split end MF towels. Lower GSM towels do not lint much if at all i.e. Waffle weaves and glass towels. Ironically I find Costco towels to be pretty good on glass and actually use them to remove MF lint from glass and mirrors.

I'm no expert on microfiber towels and I certainly have no desire to perform a science project or large scale experiment with a multitude of different microfiber towels, but I'm with you on the Costco towels. For less than $0.50 apiece they outperform many more expensive towels and work reasonably well for any detailing related task, up to and including polish and wax removal. Too bad they're not available in different colors for usage coding.

I have a black truck and any lint sticks out like a sore thumb.

The worst towels I have used (for linting) are the Meguiar's Supreme Shine towels that I got as freebies with a few of my AG orders. Sure glad I didn't pay the $3.00+ per towel that they normally go for. And I'm a Meguiar's guy so I'm not just bashing them, but based on my experience they missed the mark with those towels.

On the other hand, I love the black Meguiar's towels that come in the package with the Ultimate Wax.
