When is a 5 gallon bucket not a 5 gallon bucket? When you have a bucket that has a tapered bottom. Bought buckets at Lowes(blue) NAPA(green). The grit guards didn't fit. Went half way down. So bring your guards with you when shopping for buckets.

I have several 5gal. buckets with "tapered bottoms",
that will hold the exact same amount of similar fluids,
as does my stock of 5gal. "straight-sided" buckets. :D

Found this out the hard way..... BUT, since I'm only using my grit guard for my rinse bucket, what is a couple of gallons of water, especially when you state is still recovering for a flood?
