Definitely recommend it. That's the vacuum I use. Thing is a beast. It's also pretty quiet, alot quieter than most smaller vacs. Think about getting the car detailing kit that Rigid sells as those 2 little triangle looking brush attachments [mainly the 1 for carpet & upholstery] is worth it's weight in gold. The crevice tool is grade A as well. IMO you're going to need those 2 attachments at least to get the best results/experience out of it.

Holy cow I was looking at reviews on the 4-gal Ridgid I've been eyeing up for a while, and one guy measured it at 106 dB, 105 with the muffler :p

I have that rigid you posted. It is awesome but I wish I had gotten the smaller one. It takes up too much space

Does anyone have the Metro Vac? I'm looking to upgrade as well and kind of want that to wall mount next to my master blaster.

They are nice vacs but I've yet to see them call out Rigid 5-6hp vacs on suction power.

I have the Rigid 5hp Pro Pack and the newer one on the wheels. Both are compact and work quite nicely.

Seems like the second one would be good as it can also be used as a blower to dry your auto. I would check how the blower seals on the vacuum as a bad sealing would hinder the suction of the vac.
