Change of plans, Family member got an explorer platinum and was planning to for a while. Another family member was able to get a good deal on a lincoln mkc. Unexpected, nice car. Hence the Matthew Mcconaughey reference

I have 2 fords but have never really done any paint correction on them. Has anyone here worked with some Lincoln and Ford paint from 2015 or 2016 MY. I will be using hd adapt on a microfiber red pad from meguiars or m205.

Probably not alot of :buffing: needed but might need some to increase gloss and clarity of paint.

I have a 2014 Lincoln MKZ and have actually used Adapt on it....although not with a microfiber. The Adapt worked well and I did not find the black paint unusually hard or soft. In fact, it responded well to the Adapt. I also polished with M205 not that long ago using an orange LC thin pad and that worked well, too. I use Meguiars Black Wax covered with Collinite 845 and get a very nice high gloss effect on the black paint. I've tried a handful of different combos and that one seems to produce the best look.
