Been a while since I have posted anything here, thought I would share this recent video I put together.

This one I put together for my youtube car channel (not really aimed at detail enthusiasts), but thought some others here might find it fun.

This is one of my own cars, wash and clay process not included in the video. Now, to the video :)

10% IPA mix

CarPro coating applicator (http://www.detailedimage.com/wax.php?id=36987&url=detailedimage.com/CarPro-M53/Cquartz-Applicator-P950/)
CarPro suede MF towels (application)
Viking towels for coating removal (throw aways)


Process:

Car was already washed (2-bucket) and clayed
Mask trim
One step machine polish with Rupes & PC
Clean panels with compressed air & IPA mix
Hand applied 22ple coating with CarPro applicators
Removed with Viking towels
Final inspection and touch ups

Thanks :) Just did another car this weekend (Lexus ct200h F-Sport) with basically the same polish and coating. Always looks nice!

Looks awesome! How is the 5 inch backing plate on the 21? Any more vibration vs the standard 6 inch plate?

Honestly I never used used the standard backing plate. Went straight to the 5". Works great, no vibration that I have noticed, still well balanced.

Great video.

But, bro... Most of all, I watched your wheel bearing replacement video on the Nissan. And, I wanted to give you props for doing it with a white shirt on and not getting it filthy.
