Is it really worth the coin?? 25 bucks compared to.

14 dollars for Optimum Spray Wax... which has been amazing in the Past for me

Or

Megs Ultimate Quick Wax. At 10 bucks this stuff is hard to beat.

Really interested in giving the new. Midnight Sun Spray Wax a Go.... but just not sure I can stomach the 25 bucks

Those have used any of the 3 care to chime in ?

Thanks in advance:props:

I haven't use any of those but I am getting OCW soon....for the price and great reviews I've read it sounds like a home run product

Yes it has been my go to for the past few years.

Just wondering how it compares to the midnight sun spray

You will enjoy the OCW

But be mindful. Less is more it can streak if not careful

OSW is a good spray wax but will streak on a warm panel. BlackFire Spray wax will not.

I no longer have OSW but have Blackfire Spray Wax. IMO the price difference is not bad...especially if you wait for the sales.

My $.02 worth

Yeah grab some during the Black Friday sale. I bought a 64ozer on the last sale. It's great stuff and a little goes a long way.

Yea I heard about not over applying, but ill assume that if u happen to do so a quick buff ovcer will take care of it?

Hhhmmm that's interesting....I may lean towards the black fire if that's the case since I'm in AZ and while I don't intend to detail in the hot sun, its hard to get away from the heat in the summer whether in the garage or shade so warm panels could be a problem

What's the durability supposed to be on the blackfire spray wax?

To me...
•Meguiar's UQW's characteristics are more
aligned to those of a detail spray...
-not a "stand-alone-LSP".

•OCW's characteristics are those of an LSP...
-It's a Hybrid Spray Wax that contains:
Carnauba Wax, Sealant polymers...
-(similar to BFMS Carnauba Spray Wax's description.)

Durability for the BF has proved to be excellent for a spray on wax, a couple months no problem and that was during the hot Florida summer. Which by the way is till going on......88 today, 90 tomorrow, breaking 100 year old records. OMG where is Fall?

BobHow do you feel about D156 in comparison to UQW?

How do you feel about D156
in comparison to UQW?
•D156 Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax is, essentially,
the same product as G175 Ultimate Quik Wax.

•They both contain a high hydrophobic-polymer
content, which, therefore:
-gives D156/UQW excellent durability, for being
"spray-on products".

I've used UQW, and it was okay. Not super impressed, but not disappointed. What I do use now, and absolutely love, is CG instawax+. I freaking love this stuff! Goes on super easy, comes off super easy after just a few minutes of dry time(don't have to wait 20mins), and it gives an awesome carnauba warm shine, but adds crispness to the look as well. It is honestly one of my favorite products to use because it surprises me every time!

Bob how does d156 stack up against OCW as far durability?

And while we're at it what about OCW vs Optiseal....being that they're both optimum products and Optiseal is a pure synthetic sealant vs OCW a hybrid spray wax... It looks like they both have around 2 months durability but OCW may be a tad easier to apply being that u can work larger areas and its also less expensive.

Under identical circumstances:
OCW outlasts D156, IMO.

OCW vs. Opti-Seal?
IMO:
You answered this very well...except for the
durability claim; and that OCW contains those
all-important (patented) UV protectors.

yea after doing some more reading it looks like optiseal lasts a little longer....I will probably end up doing the Optimum duo on my wife's car and seal it with optiseal and touch up with OCW here and there.... OCW may be my main go to product for my wash and wax customers

I'm not quite sure what you meant by the following...

To me...
•Meguiar's UQW's characteristics are more

-not a "stand-alone-LSP".
...considering the Ultimate line has a quick detailer. What differentiates them or their uses? I do have OCW and UQW, but I'm not sure if I have UQD spray or if I even needed if I understand your thoughts.
