I ordered the Wolfgang Coating last week and plan to clay/polish/coat my car this weekend.

So I know the car needs to be super clean. I will be using the WG prep spray. I understand it needs to stay dry and not exposed to moisture for 12-24 hours. I read somewhere that says not to wash it for at least 1 week.

My question is... it's suppose to rain Monday. Will that be OK? I plan to have it coated by Friday night or Saturday morning so it'll be well after 12-24 hours. Thanks in advance!

Regardless, you would be fine if you were coated by Saturday and it didn't rain until Monday.

I won't have that luxury till I can clean out my garage and put my car in it. So much dew where I live it'd be like rain !!!

I have tried a bunch and for first time I would use Optimum Opti-Seal. The better the prep the better the result but in terms of just the Sealant Opti-Seal (OS) is the best bet. OS goes on easy and leaves a deep Gloss and shine with minimum 3 months protection. You can wax over if you like and also recoat at anytime if you want. It uses so little product a small bottle will last me years for my DD. Later on you can "move up" to Optimum Gloss Coat which is more long lasting but slightly harder to apply properly.
