2010 Lexus RX450h in for a multi-step correction and CQuartz Finest coating application. This vehicle has seen 5 years of regular full service tunnel wash abuse and the owner wanted to get it dialed in after I did his new BMW this spring. No more tunnel washes either. ;)

Process:

Wash - ONR Wash
Wheels - Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus & various brushes.
Tires - Cleaned with Megs D143 and Tuf-Shine brush. Dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing
Paint Prep - Nanos Skin Towel and Glide as lube
Paint Correction - M100 on the rotary with a Solo wool pad. Groit's Fast Correct Cream on the G21 with Griot's MF BOSS pads followed by HD Polish+ on the G21 with yellow BOSS pads. Tight areas done with Rupes LHR75e
Coating Prep - Eraser wipe-down followed by IPA
Coating - 2 Coats of Finest applied to paint, trim coated with Opti-Lens

Damn Chad! Probably the glossiest soccer hauler I've ever seen. How many hours did you put into it?

WOW!!! Amazing work as always Chad! You turned the paint from grey to black. The black now looks very deep and glossy.

I think I had right around 24hrs into this one

I did, but didn't take pics. I actually only needed to 2-step the roof but the sides, especially down low were so hammered that it made more sense to hit it with the rotary first. I could have very easily just used the G21 to do the whole car but it would have taken a little longer and I was pressed for time.

FYI. Cars that see regular touch-washes like this are usually more swirled down low as the brushes/mops pick up all the dirt and debris from the wheels and wheel wells, which is why I call them "Slap-n-Scratch" washes! :D

I've only used it a couple times now but it has a longer working time and no dusting like the old stuff. It smells a bit like HD Adapt now too. This paint was a little finicky on this vehicle and even HD polish required more effort to remove than normal.
