Issue with removing backing plate

So I used meguars 5" backing plate on PC couple days ago.

and somehow... while I was using it, it tighten up more and now I dont have enough room for my wrench so I am currently stuck....

any tricks I can use??

Are you using the original PC wrench?

If the PC wrench will no longer work for the
backing plate removal...then you need to find
a way to keep the backing plate from moving
as you turn the buffer/output shaft in a
counter-clockwise manner.
