I recently purchased a new 2015 Chevy Impala and would like very much to keep it looking as good as possible. I have clay barred the car and waxed it with Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax. I will be applying a paint sealant but haven't decided which one to use. I look forward to learning more about my detailing journey.

Thanks
Roger

Hi Roger, welcome to AutoGeekOnline!

You have already applied a paint sealant. Ultimate wax is a paint sealant.
Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax, polymer wax, best car wax, Ultimate Wax (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-ultimate-wax.html)

Welcome to AGO!! IMO, washing and drying are the techniques you should master or be very knowledgeable about. I do not care what product you use Wax, sealant or coating; a proper washing/drying technique will keep your ride swirl free!!

I know that there are a few how to's to tackle that problem.

Welcome to AGO and you will learn quite a bit!! If that is your avatar remind me not to challenge you on a track...I am a very little experienced NOOB!!...LOL

Rodger, welcome to AGO, I would agree, proper washing and drying is the first thing I learn first 30 years ago and still learning. Great group here and they are willing to help.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I hope to be getting a DA Polisher soon and would like some ideas on getting and keeping our new vehicles looking better than new. i would like to apply a produce that would last through the coming winter and being in the north east we never know what the winters can bring
