Car glass coating

To all expert, my car had applied glass coating just few month ago..as said no more waxing...anyway i had done waxing myself without machine. I had across some forum that claimed "don't apply polish and waxing, it will violate the glass coating warranty". Isn't right? I just doing waxing without any polish, not sure this will violate the warranty?

why would you apply anything to the glass if it was coated.Waxing can make your wipers chatter I advise against that.
