I decided to give my DD some loving on the weekend so got stuck in on a Saturday morning just as the clouds started to close so did not have much time for decent shots or 50/50's but here goes.

The car was washed with some sunlight and maxi suds to strip off previous protection and rinsed. This was followed by claying the car with a clay mitt and some car chem QD. After this it was rinsed again and I started correction. From previous experience I knew the paint was quite hard so correction was done with my flex 3401 and an orange pad followed by a white pad and pf2500. After correction I wiped the whole car down with gyeon prep and started coating with gyeon can coat. What a fantastic product! It went on easily and smoothly and wiped of just as easy and at the price.......defnitely hooked on this. The product also said to cure for 24 hours before subjecting to weather conditions OR to apply gyeon cure, wich I did. After wiping down with gyeon cure I just followed it with DNA Gloss booster just for that extra shine and pop. Any comments and suggestions welcome! http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/6a1fb3411be794c59b2595517bc051fd.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/ea3b4076ed14b19b2ff49f97a4cc6021.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/9d3f09535d0a703695d62c1fbefccf52.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/8f0b0c0b2f6960b2d1040572bb7779e8.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/6708cc90e1c95d11bf081e9cddda1431.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/8647e72481444b13c4d1037549e68f88.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/07e66df536aa1bb31154845f05af269f.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/6c2c69b36a2fba12a69f1cf4ba2681a3.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/427c59837b7eeaf0d87ecde005fa530f.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17/d88284d1e3c34989784d0629efe6daf8.jpg

Looks sharp, great job! Nice condition for a daily. What make and model is the car? I don't recognize that as a model they sold here in the states.

Hi there. No I'm not from the states. I'm from south Africa. It's a 1994 model 160i corolla gl with 560 000 kilo's on the oddometer

Half a million kilometers! It looks awesome.

Love that 90's teal paint. My beater 1996 Mazda pickup has a similar teal paint. It only has about 150K miles on it and doesn't look anywhere near as nice as your Toyota.
