and the wifes not happy! Yesterday I made stew in my dutch oven pot. Its an old iron pot form my grandpa. I mistakenly set it on the formica counter top (I know better) And it left a

nice iron stain in the form of a circle. I tried everything on this. Nothing was working and my wife was already eyeing up some granite shes been wanting forever. Finally like I thought of

iron x! Boom! Stain gone:dblthumb2:

Dodged the granite counter tops again!

Nice save, Chet!!! The look of "YES, SUCCESS" on your face was probably equally countered by the "ahh, s***!" look on your betrothed.

But, c'mon...would a 50/50 shot out in the sun have killed ya?

And that reminds me of the only customer i ever had who was disappointed in my work. He brought me an old, beat up Toyota Corolla and as a last ditch effort promised his wife he would try a detail first before deciding to get rid of it for something new. He, like Mrs. Hoyt, was already eyeballin' new cars.

Needless to say he was disappointed!
