This would be nice for most work, but that throw can get you in trouble.

I love my Flex Kompakt, it is a great machine. My only complaint is I didn't get the HD with the 25 ft. Cord.

I have one of the Harbor Freight 2 inch sander / polishers, works great for small tight areas.

You can also go to Buffdaddi.com and purchase extension that allow you to get into tighter areas.
