I recently got my hands on some CarPro HydroFoam and decided to test it out on my daily today. I usually maintain this car with Hydro2 but it's been a few months since I applied any so it needed a a little refreshing.
For those of you who don't know, HydroFoam is CarPro's new car wash shampoo that leaves behind a protectant after you have cleaned and rinsed.

The product dilutes 9:1 and can be used in either a foam cannon or straight in your wash bucket. It smells very similar to Hydro2.

Here you can see the water behavior on the car after a rinse down with my pressure washer. The car sits outside and it's been a while since I've applied Hydro2 so it wasn't repelling water the way it normally does.

On to the wash process. The directions said to foam the entire car, but I decided to work on small sections at a time. I let the product dwell for about 15 to 30 seconds before wiping with my mitt.

I used my mitt to wipe in straight lines just as I would when washing with any other shampoo. HydroFoam cleans just the same as any other car wash that I normally use. Feels slick too.

I worked my way around the car, rinsing immediately after cleaning each section.

I was very impressed after rinsing each panel. Beading was back to the way it should be. HydroFoam works just as CarPro claims.

I'm happy with the results. CarPro never fails to impress me with their innovative products. I can see this as a great maintenance wash product for cars coated with CQuartz. It's a bit pricey, but it does a great job. Would be a great item to grab during the next sale. :xyxthumbs:
