I see a lot of wasted product and opposite outcome than what you might expect!

Sure why not. I'll wash then use ONR works great. But putting it in a presser washer soap container or in a foam gun might work. But your going to use more ONR then is recommended so you'll have different results then how ONR was intended to finish.
I'll try it in my foam cannon when I get a chance. I don't know what to expect but we'll see.

If you could try it this way or even use some ONR with Power Clean before rinsing

It doesn't work. Will clean about the same as pressure washing a panel with only water.

Never tried ONR thru a foam gun but have sprayed ONR onto all the panels then PW'd it. Like stated above, you might have just power washed the car with water.
